We haven't exchanged our timeshare weeks for any other place in 10 years!!!
I have a vanity tag on my car that says ARUBA and as soon as I return from Aruba I start planning my next trip.
I visit this forum several times a day to get my Aruba fix and live vicariously through others via their trip reports.

My refrigerator is covered with Aruba magnets;
The photo frame in the dining room is a continuous sideshow of Aruba photos;
My screen savers all have Aruba photos and,
A day doesn't go by that I have not logged on to this forum.
It's all I ever think about....and I am on the forum everyday, and I begin planning our next trip before we even start the first one...
ARUBA....HOME AWAY FROM HOME![]()
After visiting several islands I finally found Aruba and never ever want to go elsewhere! I get emotional when I land and when I leave each year I am lucky enough to visit. I too visit this forum and webcams several times a day, it never gets old. I tell everyone I meet you have to try Aruba! I too have screensavers, computer wallpaper you name it! At a large fall fair last month I purchaed a huge 3 piece picture that reminds me of Aruba it is on my bedroom wall, the ocean and sand all look like my beach. It is the first thing my eyes see each morning (helps me wake up) and last night I see before closing my eyes each night. I could go on and on but you get the drift :-)
My friend Amy, an aruban resident wrote to me..............."MyAruba fill in the blank......it has been twenty years living here and I can't imagine living anywhere else. Every day I still find new things and meet new people. The stories from the old timers whose faces are a perfect weathered roadmap to their life with more smile crinkles than frown lines, hearing about Hurricane Hazel being " big wind, big rain and a lot of water to walk to school in...", local herbal cures for everything, people who when they ask about how your family is, they expect a detailed answer and they listen because they really do care. Oh, I could go on, but you already know the magic this little island holds."
Amy prefers to be anonymous as well as her employer prefers it too.
