Gift Cards/APPS from USA are usually NO

Reminder that Dunkin, Mickey D, Starbucks and other gift cards are NOT accepted at the Aruba locations.
However, we did use a Ruth's Chris gift certificate a few years ago.
Aruba issued gift certificates (such as Madame Janettes, Chalet Suisse and Aruba home based places are accepted in Aruba)

I got a private message from a member who felt uncomfortable asking.
Although I certainly do not mind getting a message with a question...........there are lots in this community that like to read the questions and answers............so I repost.

Never feel that you cannot ask or answer a question.
We are respectable and courteous here..

I used a birthday discount at Texas De Brazil on the island a few years back. No issues...

.... and we use the veteran's discount or teacher's discount each year.... but those aren't gift cards and TdB is a US chain.

True, my biggest complaint is that I can't use my Starbucks app to pay (or even get the points) for my purchases in Aruba. The Starbucks across from the Playa Linda offered me a 10% discount when I was disappointed I couldn't use my app there.

Such are the first world problems we must endure when travelling internationally...
