And, you were referring to the person at the kiosks when entering US Customs, correct?

My dad and stepmom did their GE interviews when they were leaving during our trip last October and got through it all in 15 minutes. They were having to wait months in Pittsburgh to even get their interview. Totally worth doing it in Aruba!!

I applied for Global Entry yesterday (Sunday) and just received my Conditional Approval. Less than 30 hours!

I will try to get my interview when I leave Aruba in July.

I decided to apply for GE as I have several trips planned in the next year as well as always having TSA PreCheck.

Just wanted to let people considering GE application was easy! Hope the interview process will be as well.

My husband and I both applied on April 11, CC charged. He got his conditional approval within 2 days as well. Me, I am still checking every day.....hoping we will both be able to do our interview leaving Aruba in Sept. At least hubby can!

I applied last Thursday, still waiting to hear anything, I check daily. There are only a few places in Ohio to do the interview - once I get approved then need the interview I'll plan to do the interview in Aruba when I come back after my October visit. I checked the one location for Dayton, Ohio, its out 215 days to schedule an interview. Tons of folks must be applying for this now, crazy on the scheduling.

215 days out??? Holy cats! When we did ours last year here in Dayton, we had an interview that same weekend. We had our application, interview and approval in less than 2 weeks. I guess everyone wants to get GE all the sudden!!

Yes! So crazy, I was very surprised. I'm thinking many folks are wanting the GE due to more traveling now and its been such a pain at the airports.

It's a great time saver, no matter where you fly in from. The time savings in Philly alone is worth every penny of the cost.

Late Friday afternoon I received my approval pending the interview. Over one hurdle - will complete the process with the interview in October when I leave Aruba. Looking forward to using this Global Entry for the future. Thanks to all that have commented and gave info on the process.
