    Good Friday in Aruba

We will be in Aruba from 3/24 to 3/31 God Friday is our last day/night there. Any suggestions? Wondering some ideas of best things we should plan for that day? Thinking some places might be closed.

I cannot think of anything that will be closed that would affect tourism.

Restaurants, watersports, casinos, tours......all will be running per usual.

Can't help but think that the best plan would be to simply hang at the beach all day and then have a nice romantic dinner to fully reflect on and relive your Aruba stay!

Yesterday they started dropping off the portable bathrooms for those camping on the beach that week.

Good friday is a national holiday on Aruba, just like Christmas and new years. So expect to see most places closed, including places that cater to tourists. If you have a rental make sure to go fill it up with gas on Thursday as most if not all tanking stations will be closed.

There are many family events happening though. Some radio stations do egghunts for example and other group activities.

Many people living on Aruba are Catholics. Easter is an important holiday for them. Here is a nice article which describes the traditions and events during Good Friday and Easter:
