How Many Of You Come Here To Destress

I don't know about you, but I come to the Forum multiple times a day, to distress. The trip reports, the questions, all bring me back to the island of calm, even for a moment in time. I don't have time for yoga or a massage, so it's the next best virtual experience. Ah...a sign of relief.

I don’t think I ever miss a day being on the forum. It’s a great distraction and a wonderful resource for future trips. Lots of good information here and I always enjoy the trip reports.

I agree with all. The forum is an escape from reality as is being in Aruba of course. Even if we don’t have a trip planned it makes me happy to read about others experiences and get the latest info.

I enjoy checking out the forums as it keeps me connected to the island. I get enjoyment out of others enjoying themselves.

Me! I come here as often as I can for all the same reasons stated above. I started a new job about 2 months ago (after having been at the last one for 17 years) and I am not able to get onto the forums as much as I used to, but I still get here as often as I can. It keeps Aruba "real" in the best possible way. This forum, coupled with the various Aruba Instagram (I don't have the book of faces) accounts I follow, helps me remember that even if my trip is many months away, Aruba is still the same, the time will fly by and I will be back there before I know it. Plus, I can hear all the Balashi missing me... I am coming soon, my darlings!!
