So, Massachusetts just announced a mandatory 14 day quarantine if you are returning to MA. from other states, unless you get a negative test 72 hrs prior to your return. Between having to test upon arrival, and test prior to return, and the fact that My husband is a delivery driver so does not have the option to work from home. So, I think we are going to postpone to the week after Thanksgiving.

could you get a 2nd test at the aruba airport 3 days prior to going back to MA?
this whole covid thing has got folks very:
    a) frustrated
    b) concerned
    c) terrified
    d) all of the above

we plan to be in Aruba late November.
    Maybe we'll see you there.

Also, that Massachusetts travel quarantine comes with a possible $500 per day fine for every day you don’t quarantine.

Same in Connecticut, but I think the fine is $1000. I agree, Chuck, how can it be enforced realistically. Seems to me it's fairly dependent on the honor system.

when I lived in MA, we went to NH most weekends.
also too, we were 45 miles from the state line and sometimes took a ride up to Portsmouth for an evening out...........if you leave MA , to to NH for dinner or shopping and come home, does the new rule apply?

I would assume it does. It could make it difficult for people with summer places but like others have posted how is it enforced.

The new rule exempts lower risk states. The current list includes, New Hampshire, Maine and 6 other states. There is a travel form that you are supposed to fill out prior to travel. Have no idea how that could work.
