    Liz, It's the beach bar that is set back on Playa Linda property!....connect on to that. Hopefully we don't have but it also works.

    If I am understanding this correctly the Hotels are charging for the huts they built on Government property.They should be free the Beach's are...Sounds like there is alot of politics going on

    I know the Marriott charges to reserve one for you. Don't know about the other hotels.

    Playa Linda does not charge for their chickees. But you have to get up early to get a first row, but who cares as long as you are on the white sandy beach of Aruba!!!

    Marriott only reserves and charges for a certain number of their huts...the rest are a first come , first serve basis. I have been an owner since '98 and have had a hut every day I'm there, no charge...Frankly, can't imagine why anyone would want to reserve and pay for a hut. The sun is the same anywhere on the beach...I guess if they have small children and want to be near the water would be the only reason I can see. It's less crowed in the back for sure....
