Ok, sorry to keep adding here but we are one week and a day from ARUBA!!! One of my granddaughters has a birthday party planned for December 10th and she was so disappointment that we would not make it as we will be on our flight. I felt bad a bit but not too much! When she and her friends are jumping in the Jump House we will be landing in Aruba!

The fall/winter weather is coming here, Houston is behind most of the nation. But we are getting lots of cold rain and some cooler temps after so it will be just a great time to get away to Aruba and enjoy the warmer weather. My wife thinks I am crazy but I still wear shorts but sometimes with a cashmere sweater on the upper body! A real fashion statement. I will bring the shorts but maybe leave the sweater behind.

My wife and I decided not to bother decorating for Christmas what with leaving on the 10th and returning on the 17th. And we do a lot with our kids and grandkids who have nice big houses nearby so the kids don't come over as much to our place.... no need to break our backs decorating we think.

I am taking my laptop and plan to post a trip log for everyone to read with pictures or links to them on my flickr page.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.... Sorry but I am getting a bit excited.

I'm right there with you, Chris. We leave Wednesday and it can't get here soon enough. We did put up our Christmas tree but no other decorations. I figure when we come home on the 17th I'm not going to want to do it, but if anyone stops by during the holidays it's already done. We are finishing up our Christmas shopping and hopefully packing tomorrow. We have a get together tomorrow night with friends and our anniversary is Sunday. Hopefully the busy weekend will make the time pass quickly!

LOL...only 2 more working days to NOT get fired! Its not as easy as it sounds.

We got absolutely NOTHING on our list accomplished on Saturday. Should be a fun couple days rushing around.
