I just did my daily check-in of the webcam at Manchebo. Completely overcast and raining pretty hard. So used to seeing bright sunshine and waving palm trees! It was weird to see it looking just like here in CT (but considerably warmer!). LOL!

On my first trip to Aruba, we were enjoying a perfect day under our palapa at the Marriott (Stellaris). But suddenly a large group of really noisy and drunk yuppies showed up with open liquor bottles, bikini-clad nymphettes and a boom box turned up to 10. People were really annoyed and even a couple of the staff went over and asked them to tone it all down a bit (which they didn't). Then out of nowhere the skies opened up; they and lots of others went running for the hills (well, one hill in Aruba). We stayed right where we were under our palapa, clinked our glasses (Slippery Monkeys of course) and waited it out. Five minutes later it was once again a glorious beach day on Aruba - and we basically had the beach to ourselves. Karma is a b...
Lol, yes its pouring at Costa linda right now! I also do my daily check. And yes im looking out my office window in CT and its just as cloudy !
We had a similar issue at Surf Club one year. Two young ladies and their husbands were really living it up at the pool bar. At first they were kind of obnoxious, and in true form Pam and I began chatting with them. Come to find out the two ladies were sisters visiting for the first time with their husbands. Both were NICU nurses and one had just had a child born with a severe handicap. It was their first time away from work and the child and they were living it up. So sometimes we just don't know why folks act the way they do, but sometimes talking with them explains a lot.
Noah was preparing his ark today!! Rained so hard at times I couldn't see out the casino window! Many roads flooded and Watty Vos was closed at the Ling's end. Less rain now but we figure we won't need to water the trees and plants the remainder of the week! lol
Trust me, there was no talking with that group! LOL! They were harmless, just really self-absorbed and I have no patience for that. It was just really hilarious to see them screeching and running the minute it started to rain!
Now your two couples...they deserved to whoop it up and I would have been right there with you all!
