    We had a rainy trip once and by rainy trip, I think it rained 2 or 3 days out of 12. I had lots of issues with allergies that trip so between the rain and the Benadryl, I got some of the best sleep of my life. We were staying at Aruba Beach Club that year. My husband had unsupervised casino time but it must not have been too good or bad because it was not memorable. We spent some time out on the beach in the rain and just enjoyed watching the waves.

    Our first experience with a big rain was on a catamaran we had rented on Palm Beach. All of a sudden the sky let loose with major rain and wind... a sea squall! Anyway, the wind caught the sail and capsized the cat! Blew over pretty quickly and I righted the cat and we were on our way again. Did scare the heck outta Patti!

    Good thing you are a good sailor.

    When storms pop up in Aruba, they are typically fast moving and are gone almost as soon as they arrive.
    Yesterday's storm, was very different.
    Aruba does not need the torrents of rain as they cannot handle it.
    An inch of rain overnight would be ideal.
