When the breeze is gone I get eaten by the mosquitoes. Even with spray I'll get some bites. My balcony at Divi is behind some trees above some hedge and other plants so I imagine that is why I'm more susceptible than my friend who stays at Riu. Hoping for good strong breezes over the next couple of weeks![]()

we pack with us a 3 wick citronella candle.
it helps to a certain extent.
when we stay at Bananas or Sunset Beach Studios there is also green foliage and that provides housing and camouflage for the mosquitos.
try taking a citronella candle and there is also a think we took last year that worked well....it was a green coil shaped thing that gets lit on the end and sends off a anti mosquito smell. https://www.amazon.com/Mosquito-Repe...8&sr=8-30&th=1
when there is no breeze, being in the ocean or the pool is the only answer.
