    Liquor

I cannot remember how many bottles you are allowed to buy before being taxed at the airport when you are entering Aruba. The liquor store is by where you pick up your luggage. Also if you go over the amount you are allowed, what is the amount you are taxed?

    Thank you in advance,
    Rose

    Aruba Customs
regulations allow incoming visitors to bring articles for personal use. Persons 19 and over can also bring in 2.25 liters of wine, 3 liters of beer, or 1 liter of liquor and 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars, and or 250 grams of tobacco.

For information on what you're allowed to take home, contact one of the following agencies:

sorry i do not know the tax amounts.

It's 15 bucks a liter and you have to go upstairs to pay the duty, it took me 30 extra minutes to get out of the airport. Not worth it. Also beware of the 1.1 liter bottles they sell at Dufry, they look exactly like a liter and they charge you $5 in tax.

    Same on Dufry!

Buy at PriceSmart... In a lot of cases, it's cheaper than duty free.

I agree, and the cost of a Price Smart membership can be usually be offset by the savings on booze and other things. No need to pay duty on "duty free" liquor.
