    Awesome post!
The best trip is the next trip. Anxiously waiting to book something.

I think that the insurance paid a maximum of $150 per night to the islolation places.....the places that signed the contract saying that they would set aside X amount of rooms for the duration.
In the really busy times in the Winter 2022...........those places that the government contracted with filled up fast.
Numerous Folks had to stay at their resorts in isolation.
So, the resorts got the $150 per day for maybe a room listed at $350 a day.
I know 2 couples that tested positive at Amsterdam Manor and at Lacabana in March. Both of these resorts accepted the government allowance.
There are many hidden costs I am sure.

I do know that they did follow up with people, via phone calls, who tested positive and they also picked up and transported people to their isolation accommodations.

    Hello,

My husband and I are going to Aruba for the first time next Saturday, July 9th. I just tried going on to fill out the ED card but it won't let me now until tomorrow. Why do I have to wait until tomorrow if the insurance is no longer required? I know we still need the ED card. Any thoughts?

    Thanks! Danielle

Yes, I was able to proceed as well but it wouldn't let me complete the final step. It said to log on tomorrow.

I tried this morning (July 4th) - still not able to complete. Says "try again at a later time". Hope it is updated before our departure so we don't have to deal with the paper version like the old days.
