    This is what it looked like by the Hilton on my walk a couple days ago. Island not very busy currently. After NYE crowds thinned out

    Ouch- the Hilton is empty. Makes me want to go and support the island even more. I need to count my piggy-bank, lol.

    It seems like the first part of January is always quiet-then it picks up. Our flight was about 3/4 full with the pay extra for seats emptier regular seats.

    The US Dept of State put out a travel advisory on January 4th advising not to travel to Aruba due to COVID-19 conditions. It may be affecting the crowds right now.

    Yes their was an advisory, but what most people don’t realize is that Aruba has been Level 4 advisory not to travel for this whole time, it only changed to level 3 in November.

    Walked to the high rise area today and the beaches were empty with lots of empty palapa's, but got back to LaCabana late morning and no umbrellas by pool and no palapa's available on the beach.
