While these days we book directly with the hotel and airline, I have used Expedia in the past and was happy with them. Sometimes when airfares are outrageous it’s worth checking out Expedia as they often have special airfares and you can save.

a few years ago we booked a SWA package......it included air and the hotel (tropicana now the eagle beach resort for $39 p night for a 2 bedroom renovated timeshare unit w/ washer and dryer) we booked 15 nights and shared it with our son/dil/grandsons. WHAT A DEAL!!
ALWAYS check the package deals with the airlines.

when the Ritz first opened, SWA had the RITZ as an add on for $200 p night........What a deal that was!!!!

We only booked packages a couple of times. Once we started renting condos we gave it up and now since we've purchased for sure. We just book directly through the airlines now. They seem to offer the best customer support if something goes astray. The Tropicana deal was a steal and we took full advantage of it! Thanks to Andrea!!!

I wonder who found the deal at the trop?
I know it wasn't me, but I certainly spread the word.
    Might have been Jacki?

Once we had a deal at AVIS for $39 a week.
    They had to honor it!

I said sorry Hans, you cannot beat this.

Since we own a timeshare, we do our own package. Pam gets the timeshare lined up through Interval, then I go to work getting flights, rental car and and additional accommodations. This year will be 22 to 24 nights.
