Does not look like any fun!!! Not only because they are leaving beautiful Aruba but those lines are pretty long, YIKES!!!! It is not as bad for the people arriving at least they have something to look forward at the end of the line

Our line on a Saturday afternoon was similar earlier this month. If this is the hallway before the initial security screening, it moved quickly, we were only in that line for 30 minutes.
    Always planning our next trip

Same length of the line we encountered last July 19 which was a THURSDAY. Just part of the hassle of travel.

It is good to post those photos though because it very well may keep away first time visitors then we have a shorter line for ourselves

Shout from the rooftops how busy the island is!

Another advantage to flying first class, you are at the front of those lines

A very very busy long weekend on aruba with the Soul Festival.
Great for Aruba's economy, not so great for those that are waiting ever so patiently at the security check line (as photo shows)
I got a few messages from folks that flew home on Saturday and Sunday. They said that start to finish, ticketing area to gate, took them about 90 minutes.

I have been this route numerous times and to the best of my knowledge walt, whether first or economy class has no bearing on where one stands in the line at the security checks and us customs. Or, am i missing something? Are first class passengers brought to the head of the lines?

At least I'm fortunate enough to be able to travel mid-week and not on the weekends... just a bit easier!

We were able to check in using the first class line at United back in Feb. We were only second in that line, so we breezed right through that part, but encountered back ups at screening, and massive back ups at customs.
