Also - just wondering why you are asking these questions for your photography?
I ask these questions with hope sof maybne doing a short term photostory when I visit. Just trying to gain some information about the island which could lead me to subjects or organizations that would be able to help me as well.

-Aruba's main export could lead me to a nice story about the working class
-How safe is it to walk the streets alone will give me a sense how the crime and if I'd be able to walk the streets alone.
-Again, non-profits organizations could help me find issues on the island.

And as for children, I've been all over the world, sometimes unable to speak the counties language and never had a problem shooting children in public. I am photojournalist, so I am always sent out to shoot kids having fun for a photo in the paper.
