I would have to do the "call together" thing too, you are not alone. Glad you sent things out early, what a pain

No record of his passport, but they do have mine. GREAT.....

Thank you Tracey for posting this article & making me get my passports renewed a little earlier than I was planning!

If anyone chooses to renew by mail please make sure it is sent via UPS or Fedex with tracking number and signature required!

Wow I guess I lucked out last year when I renewed mine. I sent my passport and Mother's at the same time and I got them back together 3 weeks later with no issues. i guess it depends on who is handling it.

I sent all of our's in on envelope (express mail) with a check for each one.
Handed it to the post officer worker too. (this is what my mailman said to do.)

You know now that I think about it, I also went to the post office and sent out via express mail. I also attached a check for each one.

Here is the info what is required to renew a passport:

    https://travel.state.gov/content/pas...rts/renew.html

    And the Contact info:

    https://travel.state.gov/content/pas...passports.html

Luckily, you still have plenty of time. Hopefully, the second attempt to renew your husband's passport will go smooth.

Crap - didn't even think of that. Another expense that is NOT my fault.

I would ask the bank to waive it. They may not be able to, but doesn't hurt to ask.

I got both my new passport and old one with the holes punched in last week's mail. March 31 - May 19 or 20 - only a week or so longer than their 6 week quote but at least I got it! Yay!

Appeared in person last night to renew Rich's passport. They only asked me to pay the $110 renewal fee - not the higher, brand-new passport fee Of course they did charge $35.00 for the picture.....

Fingers crossed we get it back in time!
