    Sargassum..........in Bonaire and the Caribbean

    Although this is filmed in Bonaire, George Buckley is talking about how it impacts ALL of the Caribbean.
    So, it is not being moved to "off topic"

    There have been just a few small patches of sargassum in Aruba.

    There are tons of it all over the Caribbean.
    We have seen it while on cruises and it STINKS.
    Aruba has been lucky.

    George and I go waaaaaay back together.
    He introduced me to my husband!

    I knew the seaweed was bad in certain spots but I had no idea the extent of the problem. If Aruba was not getting crowded before things like this are going to pack our little island even more if it continues.

    It is especially terrible in certain area in the Bahamas.
    Another preventable human caused problem.

    It was really bad the last time we were in St. Maarten in 4 years ago.
