    we will be there that time of year and are not worried. Aruba will work quick to fix that. Tourism is huge there, they aren't going to sit back and do nothing. They will be on top of it as they are showing they are already. Don't worry!!

    Any more reports about this from folks that are there? I heard that the natural pool is closed. I wonder how long this will last (our trip is 7/6).

    I read that it will be closed at least the next 10 days based on a tour operator reports.

    My boys visited the natural pool on Saturday. We were unaware of any oil issues while in Aruba.

    temporarily closed while the cleanup is happening.
    all beaches within the national park are closed during cleanup.

    if Aruba is already on top of cleaning up without waiting for typical red tape, then I wouldn't worry. the fact they are trying to clean up before it gets out of hand is a good sign, at least to me it is.
