    Tanker Off Renaissance Island

An oil tanker has run aground on a reef off of Renaissance Island.
Updates as we know them will be posted.

    Please no speculation.

From my friend who lives on the ilsand

    Update on tanker per masnoticia.com
    Tanker removed
Captain asked to "blow" and arrested by Maritime police for drinking
Captain will be held and company needs to be responsible for damage to the reef....no oil spill reported.

Was the captain Joe Hazelwood? Just kidding At least there was no environmental damage other than to the reef inhabitants.
