Very well stated Robin! I would add....a power grid that can not handle the load either. In 2022 we had more power outages than any year in the 14 years we have owned here.

Thank you! I forgot about the electric. It usually goes out once while we are here and in '22 it went out several times. I wonder how much water they can produce, too. I also forgot that to fill these resorts with staff, they will probably need more people living on the island and affordable housing is already an issue and what about healthcare for those workers?

I sent a friends who will be here next week a picture of the construction next to us and told them about TDS. They stay here as long as we do, but do not own. He said that the island is going to sink from all the concrete.

I know that there was talk a few years ago that they wanted to build a resort at Arashi Beach. I thought they gave up the idea and bought the property next to us. I guess they still want a resort at that end of Aruba.

Something looks like its being built behind Arashi beach, i have seen the new roads and roundabouts. What is it going to be?
