It looks like the storm will get worse once it leaves the ABC islands. It is so odd that it is on its current path. Luckily it does not appear, at this point, to become a hurricane until it is further west.

This is what we received from our management company.
Dear all,
I hope this email finds you well!
As you may be aware Aruba is expecting some extremely unusual weather within the next 24 hours or so. The government has issued a Tropical storm warning earlier today and this afternoon they have been speaking about announcing code red.
Our team has been preparing since yesterday morning in order to get through this the best possible way.
We will have three staff members and two cleaning ladies staying on property as of tomorrow in order to assist our in-house guests and protect your units from possible water damages and to assure we have staff on site on Thursday. What typically happens with this type of weather with a lot of rain is that many parts of the island get flooded and people will not be able to even get to work. I would like to thank the owners of 254 & 512 in lending us their units for our staff.
In-house guests have received a letter in their units in which they have been asked to cooperate with the balcony furniture and to please stay on property tomorrow evening. We will take care of the unoccupied units and the furniture of the roof terraces. All roof terrace drains have been checked as well.
Rest assured that we will do our utmost to assist our in-house guests and protect your properties.
The team and myself will keep you posted!
Well I may have jumped the gun but I just changed my flight to Friday instead of Thursday. No charge to change and minor seat change. Gives me some piece of mind. I am traveling with no plans there other than to relax at beach and pool at my timeshare at LaCabana.

I retired a couple years to Hilton Head area. Before I moved all I kept hearing was we haven’t had a hurricane in 20 years. Wouldn’t you know , there have been warnings and major storms every year since I moved. Hurricane prep in SC is as bad as blizzard prep in North Jersey!
I got a notice from Azure ad asking that everyone bring in patio furniture. Luckily, my house watch company brought them in apron their last visit. I’ll be there on Monday so I can report in
Yes, I too just got an email from my property management people also.
Basically said no need to panic but use the opportunity to be prepared.
Food, flashlights, water etc and take any items indoors and have phones etc. fully charged.
Good advice i guess.
