    Verizon Phone In Aruba

.....their partner carrier in aruba that relayed the CDMA transmissions is experiencing difficulties since early this year and apparently it still hasn't been fixed.
Hi, heading down with the family shortly, and wondering if anyone knows the latest on the verizon / cdma transmission issues ?

    > Also: I was interested in being able to use text services. Anyone have any info. on data usage rates while on the SETAR network ?

    Thanks much,

I have been using a verizon phone with no phone issues. Data works intermittently.

    Verizon phones

I have verizon and have not not had service in aruba for years. Your best bet is to bring a lap top with you to keep in touch with everyone back home.
