    Warning...Do NOT take Conch Shells

On a couple of other Aruba forums, there are a couple of people talking of their experiences at the first security
check point at departure at Aruba Airport.

Both of these women have had conch shells removed from their luggage and were fined $$.
    The fines are cash only.

A most unpleasant situation for those involved.

They had no idea of the conch shell rules.

So, please be aware.................Don't bring them home.

Last year I was tempted to bring home the conch shell I found. When I checked online I saw that you weren’t supposed to take them. I left it for others to enjoy. Glad I thought to check. This is a good warning!
