In order to get out of the water in Arashi, I need to be pulled out or do a running start cause the little mountains in the water, you can't get out of. I spend more time laughing as I try to get out, and its not just me. When you are sitting on the beach, all you see are people trying to get out, lol.

One place where I'm really glad I had them was the family beach area on Renaissance Island during a recent weekend stay at the Ocean Suites there. Lots of slimy stuff, rocks, and other sea-weedy things in that cove. Eagle Beach, it's not.

Any recommendations as to what brand of water shoes?

Bri, it was at Playa Linda where we stay.

I got mine at the Christmas Tree Shops for $5.99 and they fit perfectly and are not clunky. Once I am in the water, I am fine so these were light weight but had the bottom for protection. I only need them for getting in and out of the water.

I had gone onto the crocs site but the ones I wanted were not listed.
    So I used Amazon.

I sang the Wells Fargo Wagon song to the Amazon Prime delivery man (boy) earlier.
    (from the MUSIC MAN)
He has no clue and was unimpressed.

I always bring water shoes, every year the waters edge is different, most recently no problems getting in/out of but some past years very rocky and definitely was happy to have them. Always feel kind of weird wearing them however
