    We have to Cancel

    Well, it looks like we're cancelling again! You know, it's always something! With 32 days to go, I have to cancel again, because my sweetie is going in for hip replacement surgery next Monday. This IS good news as he has been in such pain for the last 2 months. I hope I don't lose my money for the airplane tickets as this will be the third time I've changed them. Looks like we'll be heading down to our beloved Aruba in March.

    Oh no! Well I'm sure the airlines will work with you. they are very generous right now. Maybe you can just rebook the flight for next March? We did that with Delta tickets originally booked for last March.

    Oh, thank you Andrea. We are thankful for his hip surgery. He was scheduled to have it in March, but the surgeon got a cancelation. I really don't know how he could have stood it til March. I am sad about missing our trip this year as it is the first year we haven't gone in 20 years, but glad at the same time.

    Know you're disappointed about your trip, but just think ahead to March when hubby and you can stroll on the beach together with that new hip!! Hope it goes smoothly!

    I am sorry that your have to cancel, but it'll be more fun if he is feeling better. I am hoping that he has an easy surgery and a quick and full recovery.

    I feel for your mate. I've been dealing with hip pain myself for a year but hip replacement was denied because of my weight. Best of luck!

    He’ll be able to enjoy Aruba so much more after recovering from his hip surgery. Wishing him an easy surgery and quick recovery. My husband had a hip replacement years ago and was thrilled with his results. He always wished he had done it sooner.
