I am getting report of a partial road washout near Boca Catalina beach. A bit south of Arashi

I will have 2 go check it out Andrea. I am just over a 1mile from Boca Catalina. I would not be surprised . Couldn't see the pics here.

Interesting, I wonder if it only happened on part of the island? My buddy who is visiting said he had rain in the AM but the sun was out by 930 with clear skies at Baby Beach.

Rain usually varies a lot per district. Some areas can get 10mm, others 60mm or more. It has been raining more than usual compared to other years this last week or so. Locals aren't complaining though, we love the rain

From 9/11-10/1 I found the rainfall to be just a little more than the usual for this time of year, but not bad. The water in my bedroom was not due to strong storms, but rather due to shoddy construction of the balcony and slider - it happens almost every year at least once.

Everything is so green. The landscape pics I took after glass hunting are of the coast are behind Alta Vista. Look how green it is if you check my pics.

Thursday morning as I left the spa at Manchebo, it was pouring with thunder and lightning near Palm Beach but not a drop in my area. But I think it did rain later at the low rise area.

In 23 years of going for week 38, and about 8 years of going week 38 & 39, none has ever been as rainy as 2010.

Yup...rain down here also. Sky is very dark....two weather sites we follow say it will be like this until mid day on Friday

I’m getting the same information here at the Ocean Club. We have rum for Mike and Aperol for me. Going for lunch now then plan on a lazy afternoon watching movies.

Thanks Ann. Yes just looked it up and see the forecast isn't great til maybe Sat. Hoping for things to change for the better next week.
