    welcome to slower season

beginning on or around the 23rd of april ...........
aruba will be into its slower (a bit slower) season til late May.

not to be confused with the more slow season of monday after thanksgiving til 5 days before christmas

regardless of the season, it is never dead.
the sidewalks/boardwalk do not roll up and get put away

this is my favorite season on aruba.

For the first time, we're going in September for scientific purposes: I'll be testing to see how well frozen margaritas hold up in the allegedly hottest month of the year.

We will be there during this season but towards the end. It being a visit after a very, very long time, I hope this helps us ease into Aruba life for future visits no matter what time of year. Kind of nervous about my trip for some reason.

we always go the 2 weeks prior to thanksgiving week and it is usually pretty laid back, just the way I like it !!
We also pick a week earlier in the year, usually just after Easter, which happens to be the case now (leaving 4/29) it is slower, less people, less craziness (although I do enjoy craziness....)
will have to see how it goes this trip ....If I don't get arrested or thrown off the island.... I will let everyone know how the trip went
    ARUBA....HOME AWAY FROM HOME
