What to do in Aruba if you are NOT a fan of the beach or pool?

If you are not a beach/pool/sun lover………..what is there to do in Aruba?
Paul and I have an elderly friend that used to accompany us to Aruba often……maybe about 10 yrs ago.
He is not a pool/beach person but he enjoyed sitting in the shade reading, casinos and dining out.

What kind of things would you recommend to folks like our friend (but not necessarily elderly) ?

Skydive, play golf, Trikes Aruba, visit any of the museums, the model railroad museum is on my list, but last time we were in San Nic it was closed. There are also many volunteer opportunities on the island.

We have made friends with a couple who are always on the beach between 3-4am,they shoot the sh...,watch the sun come up,have coffee and breakfast sitting in chairs. Then she drags her lounger out into the sun around 9-9:30, he takes off to the timeshare to read papers, watch tv. Sometime during the day he will go to casino. In the afternoon she leaves the beach for lunch and most afternoons they tool around the island,do errands etc...

I remembered a thread from a few years ago from forum member SanNic44. He has a short video on his Bent Page site https://bentpage.net/2012/03/21/arub...-museum-video/
    Thanks Dan!

Next year I will try to remember to ask for an appointment. If I can set something up, maybe Paul would like to join me next May?

Haha I got up one day at 4am and sat with them and others because it was a full moon and they kept talking about how pretty it was! I used to work at 4am so wasn’t hard for me to get up but I did nap all morning.
