What was missing in Aruba yesterday and today?

Tradewinds have been stolen by the humid/muggies thieves.
A BOLO has been put out and my sources say "tuesday" they will return.

Sounds like you will need loads of time in the water, or a lovely air conditioned restaurant to hang out in. Selfishly, it's good to hear they will be back on Tuesday.

Wow! The only time we found the trade winds to be AWOL was October. That was part of the reason we started going in May. We can't wait to get back to Aruba this month!

Hope you are enjoying your trip!

glad to hear they are coming back for all you lucky travelers. i don't think i've ever seen the palm trees so still as this morning on the web cam, i could not believe it. also last night's village mall web cam the table cloths on the vendors tables were not even blowing sounds like a good excuse for a nice frozen cocktail (or two)

Floating around the pool or the ocean with a cool drink sounds delightful!

I will trade your weather for the 3" of rain we have had here in the last 7 days.

Yes, you are correct. Last October when we were there, most of the days there was no breeze at all. It was brutally HOT, but we figured it was worth it since we knew this was our last bit of sun and fun before the cold, dark winter arrived. ((

Last week it seemed like the mornings were a lot less windy. Made for some long hot walks.
    Always planning our next trip

is it normally no winds in October? I do have a reason for asking, not that I mind either way but is October, especially beginning of October usually known for no or little tradewinds????????
