trying to get a feel of what you are when you travel to aruba ?


dear hubby and i "used to be" family traveling with 2 teen boys (son and friend.)


but, now the son is out of college, married, a dad and an employed nuclear engineer.


so, we are now a retired couple ahhhhh and travel by ourselves, at our own pace and cherish the memories, but very much enjoying our change of status to "no income, no kids, retired "

many of us travel very differently and it'll be interesting to read where you fit into the mix.

We used to be DINKs now we"re retired and older. I prefer a beach vacation over any other type of vacation. That's what makes aruba so perfect. Of course, we will squeeze in a Vegas trip this year for Tom.

Single income (plus a little "hobby" job) couple with two adult daughters at home.

Family with kids .... all 3 of them are AUA fanatics. We have been loving the off season visits when the kids are in school. Can't wait till that is a full time gig, but as long as I can I would love to travel with them to our second home as time marches on !!! Time will tell, not sure how long they are gonna put up with the singing and shenanigans at the Bunker though !!! I'm fighting this age thing to the very end !!!!!!

I'm a SINK (single income no kids). I've traveled with friends and solo to Aruba. I'm in the single digits now toward retirement. Hoping to retire to FL so I'm closer to Aruba!

Single. I've traveled with siblings, parent and twice solo. It was a nice experience traveling solo and very safe in Aruba.
