We are booked for a week in August and in case that falls through a week in September both at the Hilton. Airfare is not booked. We like to fly Delta from Albany, NY as we can get there in one day but their airfare is very high and the prices go up and down depending on what day you look, and I am not ready to "pull the trigger" on flights. We may end up on JetBlue, but we have to leave the day before and spend the night in Fort Lauderdale.

We are booked October 10 - 21 and have air and timeshare at Barcelo. Can cancel if need be. Also, Barcelo booked for December 26 through January 10, 2021 but have not yet booked the airfare. I am hoping the fare comes down a bit.

I think all inclusive is great for first timers, especially given the current atmosphere and not knowing exactly what will be open and many places being carryout only. You will know your costs up front. Just be sure to get out of the resort and walk around Palm Beach to see what else is out there and maybe consider an island tour.

    welcome to your first posting.
there are a handful of folks that might be rude enough to shame you, but that is a rule breaker and they would be in deep doo doo.

    all inclusive works for MANY.
we stayed at the Tamarijn 3 times when our son was in high school.
    we liked it!!!

Welcome, Marisamarisa! One of the many wonderful things about this forum is not having to worry about ditzing, shaming, any of those things so prevalent on other forums. I had friends who did the all inclusive at Riu last year and they loved the variety. I did all inclusive last year at Manchebo because it was my first time going solo to Aruba. I was a bit nervous about going alone so I wanted the comfort level of not having to leave the resort. Now I'm going back in September (fingers crossed) and not doing AI. Hope you'll post trip reports. We're desperate for some! LOL!
