Sorry Chuck! I too hate connections. As much as I love Aruba I am not rushing to be the 1st group back.

We are feeling the same way, being one of the first one's back is gonna be a little tough for us, our July 1st out of New York just doesn't seem feasible at this point. Would like everything on the home front a little more stabilized before leaving on a trip. I actually thought they would be holding back on the Northeast flights as long as possible, gonna have to wait and see how this plays out. This might be the summer to finally build our 'Bunker Bar' in our yard, the old one, not the new one, it's a little too modern for us. MISS YOU AUA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we are going Nov 8th for 5 weeks hopefully. If we can't go out to dinner, that's fine since we have a house, grill etc. there are plenty of pools where we stay, one right in behind our house, 25 feet away. i just need the beach and warm weather. i don't care about the casinos and shopping has been downhill in Aruba for the last couple of years. so its just a matter of vacating our yearly routine for a different one. we don't need to be entertained

December 6 at La Cabana for 2 weeks. We are bringing 30 friends along (staying at La Cabana and Eagle Aruba). It's a giant retirement party. I work my last day on Dec 3rd, though my actual retirement date is Dec 21. One of my partners that I was hired with is also retiring the same day. Several of the other people attending are also 2020 retirees. I hope we are able to pull this off. This has been a dream of mine for several years.

I haven't book the flight yet. I'm waiting for things to normalize a little bit, but it will be Delta. I have credits from a cancelled trip this week to Vegas. I'm really hopeful that we can come up with something to make sure the people of Aruba stay safe with all of the people traveling there. If you are there when we are, stop over and say hi. Trust me. You won't miss us

As a side note, if you are looking for something to keep you in the Aruba frame of mind, Aruba Ray Comedy is doing weekly comedy shows on Zoom. There are two more shows scheduled the next two Fridays. The money goes to help the people of Aruba and out of work comedians in New York. Just do a search for Aruba Ray Comedy if interested.

Congrats on retirement! I love it! A friend of mine describes it as everyday being a Saturday.

I just got off the phone with Guy at Player's Choice to cancel this year's trip. Hated to make the call, but he was just exceptionally helpful as always! He's working on getting a refund on airfare, baggage fees and extra leg room and will get back to me. Hopefully with a good outcome. Can't say enough good about his service for the past 10-12 years!
