LaCabana is our favorite resort, due to the fact that we "were" owners of numerous weeks there. since 1997.
Since retiring, having timeshare was not high on our list of must haves or wants, we got rid of all of our timeshare units 2 years ago.

I have no idea how many units are at LaCabana Beach and Resort and Casino. I believe that there are at least 200.
There are 4 floors and there are some pretty great views.
There are Studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms and 3 bedrooms........most are lock out style.

Parking is plentiful.

The pool is outstanding and there are a couple of hot tubs and a very small kiddie pool.
Loads of chaises and tables with umbrellas.

The resort is located across from Eagle Beach and it is a 3 minute walk from most units to the sand!
Paradise Beach Villas are next door on the south side and Amsterdam Manor is the north neighbor and the neighbor on the east is the Eagle Resort.

The resort has a higher end outdoor restaurant "Las Ramblas" which gets great reviews. A poolside restaurant "Island Grill" is very good and serves breakfast lunch and dinner. Poolside is also "Sbarro" which serves, pizza and other fast food. Mixed reviews. Paul loves their chicken and I am very happy with a slice.

There is a spa on property.

The poolside PataPata bar is ALWAYS hopping. There are at least 2 happy hours a day...maybe 3.

For your spiritual needs or some quiet meditation, there is a small chapel.

There are many good things to be said about LaCabana.

What do you have to say about LaCabana?

We stayed there for a week and another time for a night. We like it there and once in awhile stop in for Happy Hour. I like their spa for my mani's and pedi's and Stu uses them for haircuts. I have also had massages there. Everyone is friendly and the location is great.

Yes there was 3 happy hours
Lots of activities rum tasting, ginger tasting to name a few
Pool area is plenty
Grills always clean. Pool towels easily swap as often as you like vs
Some resorts 1z daily
Close to beach, super food , food truck and more

They have a total of 449 rooms.

We rented from owners in the past a couple of times around 2000-2001 because it was such an affordable rental price but it really wasn't our cup of tea. Too many people (pool and bar always packed - never could get a chair at the pool during our stays there but we are beach people so not a big deal) - but we like smaller boutique style resorts where they know you by name so it's really just a matter of personal preference. It fit our needs fine at the time (rental price was too good to pass up) but we made many day trips to Rodgers Beach to escape for a quieter, relaxing atmosphere.

It's actually more than that. The total of the two combined resorts is 811 rooms (362 at Eagle Beach Resort).

LaCabana is a place I would certainly consider returning to. The low cost combined with the pool, and incredible beach across the street make it one of the best values on the island for sure. The food offerings are solid and the location cant be beat. You are right in the middle of everything in the low rise area and have a short enjoyable walk to Palm Beach or a 10 dollar cab ride. There are many reasons why this is one of the most visited spots on the island year after year.

We are Bluegreen owners and have enjoyed LaCabana for the last 20 year’s. This year is even better either Super Foods right down the street and 3 places to order food from to eat on our patio. We usually travel with another couple but this year. So we usually order a large pizza fro sbarro on our first night which is usually good, but we opted for the small which was ok, but the side salad was really good. We find LaCabana a nice stay.

We’ve never stayed at LaCabana but did enjoy visiting with Andrea and Paul by the pool one trip. Glitz casino is an added bonus. It’s small but has a decent variety of slot machines.

I’ve only stayed once, but I really like La Cabana, the beach, and the employees. Huggy Bear is so sweet. I haven’t dined at the restaurants, but I love the bar
