While the world is currently on hold due to COVID-19, the Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort remains active to provide people with a virtual tropical experience at home.
The award-winning adults-only resort on Eagle Beach has launched an interactive social media campaign called #BringingBucutiToYou, which has already attracted and inspired many followers. The video series was launched last month by owner and CEO Ewald Biemans. Biemans says that, as a result of the current situation, employees are busy updating the resort, so that when guests return, the hotel is completely renovated.
The video in which the campaign was launched was viewed by no fewer than 3.6k people on Facebook. The videos are also shared on Instagram and Twitter. Guests from around the world then respond with requests to see, for example, videos of their favourite hotel employees making their signature cocktail. They also spoke heart-warming messages, enthusiastically announced that they were already looking forward to the time when they could stay at Bucuti and were grateful for the beautiful videos in which they can see their favourite resort during these turbulent times.
More videos appear online every week, including guests' favourite places in the resort, as well as the facilities that guests enjoy the most, such as the sun loungers on the beach. Guests' messages are presented by employees. Employees also greet their fans from the most beautiful places in and around the hotel.
Hotel renovation Like many other countries in the world, Aruba has boundaries for non-residents regarding COVID-19 closed. This means that some hotels are also temporarily closed. Owner and CEO of Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Ewald Biemans, does keep his doors open so that employees can carry out their work. From doing a major cleaning to following training courses and already rolling out projects to offer future guests an even better hotel experience.
