Workspaces that enhance your workation experience

Working remotely has never been easier in Aruba than it is now. From business meetings to creative brainstorming sessions, Aruba makes it fun!

Recent events have normalised working remotely. Whether working from home or the cafe down the street, companies are now open to working out of the office. Workspaces were the place for entrepreneurs and small business owners to get some work done outside the home. But now, with the normalisation of working remotely, you see many workspaces popping up worldwide, making it less challenging for the digital nomad.

Aruba is no different. Working remotely has never been easier in Aruba than it is now. Of course, part of a workation is the flexibility to work from your hotel or rental, by the beach or the pool. But sometimes, you need that place you can focus and get the work done more efficiently.

Maybe you need to have a business meeting and need a quiet space or you want to have creative brainstorming sessions that work better when everyone is together. You can do all of that on One Happy Island!

There are a few workspaces to choose from; all different and great in their own way, as you’ll learn more below. You’ll have to select the one that works best for your situation and maybe even the one that fits your personality best, as they are all unique.

Here are some workspaces in Aruba to make your workation a productive one:

1. Workspace Aruba

The very first workspace in Aruba opened its doors in 2015. It’s called, well… Workspace! Founders Tristan Every and Rudy A. Croes, both tech-savvy and creative entrepreneurs, thought Aruba needed this flexible concept for the digital nomad. The cosy yet inspiring space is located in the centre of Oranjestad. Workspace is precisely what you would expect such a concept to look like. It gives off a digital urban-coffee-shop vibe that invites innovation and collaboration. All that was missing was some alternative rock and jazz playing softly in the background. Workspace includes both open desk spaces and meeting rooms. Private rooms are also available for rent, depending on availability. The meeting rooms can accommodate up to 8 people while the 3 private rooms are a bit smaller and accommodate 4 people. The meeting room has a flat-screen tv for presentations and is perfect for brainstorming sessions. Workspace promotes collaboration and wants guests to leave inspired.

2. Impact Hub

The only truly flexible workspace of the bunch, Impact Hub means business. The space is serene and created for focus and collaboration. Impact Hub is global, with spaces in over 60 countries. The open space concept allows members to work comfortably from the sofa/seating area, sit in a booth, or the open-desk space. Meeting rooms can also be reserved for a certain amount of hours per month. It’s all about the entire Impact Hub community and giving equal rights to all members. Located in the Harbour House Condominium complex, you’ll be just a short walk from the shopping area. Perfect for the little breaks in between.

3. Piso Tr3s

Let’s make work fun! That’s what the founders of Piso Tr3s, QueenAnn Bergen and Zilha Wever, envisioned when they created the work centre. Located within a historical building in Oranjestad, with a direct view of Mainstreet, Piso Tres is industrial meets business meets color. The minimalistic approach to design is edgy and cool. A giant mural on the wall of the conference room sets this workspace apart from the others. This is the only workspace with a bar area, which can be used during larger conferences. The atmosphere is different from the moment you step out of the elevator. Ambient lights illuminate the entire space, allowing you to set the mood of your meeting or conference and the choice of changing the lighting colors to your company’s brand style. Meeting rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs for presentations and can accommodate up to 8 people.
