The Torch Parade is the first official parade of the Aruba Carnival Season.
Originally organised by the Tivoli Club, Aruba's oldest social club, the Torch Parade is now the first official parade on the Aruba Carnival Organiser's schedule. It is also the most economic parade in which to participate.
Hundreds of brightly lit locals (and sometimes visitors) dance behind the musical floats as they process down the streets of the Aruban capital, Oranjestad.
The parade begins at 8:00 pm and sets the pace for the festivities to come.
