About

Come to Zeerover, a local fisherman's wharf in Savaneta with the freshest seafood, cleaned and cooked in front of you.

Zeerover is a local hangout that over the past years has become a destination in its own right. Locals relax, eat and drink here, shoot pool and have a great time while fishermen prepare their fresh catch.

Zeerover is located on the seafront, on a fish pier in Savaneta, the former capital of Aruba. Zeerover- a Dutch word meaning 'pirate'- is a very casual eatery that serves fish and drinks at local prices. The freshly caught fish is served in 'finger-food' style, straight from colourful baskets.

The vibe here is very laid-back and this place is popular with both locals and tourists. On your way in there’s a counter on the left where you can purchase fresh fish to take home or enjoy on the pier. While the menu is simple and features one or two daily fresh catches, along with some local sides, the backdrop is a most gorgeous sea view. Prices? Local. Excellent value. Our kitchen hours are from 11 am – 9 pm. The kitchen is closed on Mondays. We accept cash only.
