Aruba Excellence Foundation grants Recognition Award to organizations that are 100% A.C.P. Certified

Since 2017 awards are granted to companies that certify their whole team. Each company made it possible for each team member to get certified with the Aruba Certification Program (A.C.P.), with this activating their commitment with the hospitality and service industry of Aruba.

The COVID-19 pandemic and its devastating effects for the island not only presented difficult challenges for the operations of the A.E.F. but also came with a so-called ‘blessing in disguise’ in the form of the opportunity to accelerate innovative solutions for the A.C.P. program. The A.E.F. started to facilitate the certification program online through Zoom sessions and free of charge. This resulted in massive registrations for people who still wanted to get certified, despite the pandemic and their personal situation at the time. Several employers motivated their employees to get certified during this time, as they had some extra time on their hands prior re-opening of the island for its visitors.

There are currently 28 companies with the status of 100% ACP Certified. Each with many qualified Aruba Ambassadors who can provide correct and concise information about Aruba and provide excellent service with ‘zjeito’, thus with the Aruban touch! All thanks to the Aruba Certification Program.

Congratulations to Costa Linda Beach Resort, Cas di Cultura, Starbucks, Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa, Aruba International Relocations, Eco Destinations, Fofoti Tours, Jeff Classic Tours and Elements of Aruba for this amazing achievement.

Finally, there is Paradise Beach Villas which is the only resort in Aruba that has re-certified the whole staff for the second time.
