ARUBA MARRIOTT HELD THEIR 1ST MARRIOTT KIDS CAMP WEEK

ARUBA MARRIOTT HELD THEIR 1ST MARRIOTT KIDS CAMP WEEK

Summer time comes along once a year, and Aruba Marriott had the pleasure to organize their 1st Marriott Kids Camp Week for their associates’ children

The Marriott Kids Camp was held during the last of week of July 2016 filled with fun and educational activities where about 80 kids participated. Each day a different activity was held for half a day. On the first day, an educational property tour was held where the kids got to learn more about the Aruba Marriott and where their parents worked. After the tour, the kids were treated to a sweet cupcake decoration session in the Grand Ballroom where each one of them could decorate their own cupcake and eat it too. The second day of the camp was all about a splashing-good time! Several water activities were setup on the Marriott Beach as well as two bouncy water houses. For the third day, the kids went on an educational yet fun bus tour where they visited the donkey sanctuary to feed the donkeys, explore the Aruba National Arikok Park where a tour guide gave them a short presentation on the importance of nature conservation, and lastly, the kids visited Santa Rosa where they enjoyed a nice outdoor lunch. No better way to end the Marriott Kids Camp then with a fun movie night held at Aruba Marriott’s Grand Ballroom featuring the movie Zootopia and of course a lot of snacks for the kids to enjoy.
