“Boardwalk is different than any other hotel in Aruba," says Kimberly Rooijakkers, hotel manager. “We are set on a historic coco plantation, formerly known as Plantage Tromp and we are very proud of that heritage, keeping the ‘coco spirit’ alive with local art in all of our casitas and a small nursery on property where new palm trees are grown from fallen coconuts. Besides, my twin sister Stephanie and I were born and raised in Aruba and we cherish our local roots. At our hotel you can experience to live like a local and all guests have a hammock and bbq on their own private patio to relax and experience the laid-back Caribbean life. In addition we provide the Boardwalk Treasure Box, a unique in-room amenity with a selection of hot spots, hidden gems and island favorites, stimulating all guests to go out and explore our island and discover Aruba. Last but not least, all our staff embrace the family-run operation that we are, providing personal attention to our guests with an eye for excellent service. The efforts of our staff and the unique guest experiences to be had here, landed us in TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame and we are humbled and very grateful.”
