International Housekeeping Week 2019 was filled with events and celebrations at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino
The International Housekeeping Week 2019, was filled with delight and pampering for the hardworking team members of the housekeeping department of the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino.
The week’s events organized by the department of Human Resources, were excitingly interactive, and put together in collaboration with other resort departments.
The week started off with a surprise photoshoot for all team members with the breathtaking view of Mira Solo as the background, each photo was then framed and presented after aHoly Mass service, which included breakfast in the Morris Lapidus Grand Ballroom.
The following day, team members gathered on the Miramar South Lawn, for exciting team building activities throughout the afternoon. The well-thought-out “spel zonder grenzen” gave team members the opportunity to work up a sweat, laugh, and win prizes in a variety of games, such as, musical chairs, balloon pop, and more.
Wednesday, was a day for Bingo. Team members gathered in Laguna restaurant, for an electrifying dance workshop, along with a friendly game of Bingo, and of course, there were prizes to be won.
Thursday, the Blue Energy Committee members along with several team members from different departments put on their cleaning gloves and surprised the Housekeeping team members in the rooms and in the laundry, to assist with cleaning, followed up with a sweet donut surprise with a special note attached to each.
On Friday, the celebrations concluded with a party bus trip for the Housekeeping team. Team members got to unwind and celebrate together over local snacks and drinks as the bus took them around the island.
International Housekeeping Week at Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino was designed to acknowledge and show the immense appreciation for all the contributions and hard work that the resort’s back-of-the-house heroes do on a daily basis.
