La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino Conducts Q1 Appreciation Meet
The associates of La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino got together for an informative afternoon with a packed agenda in honors of Q1 Appreciation Day.
The highlights of the program was a video fly-through of the pool concept renovations, encouraging associates to focus on customer service and respond to guests’ needs especially during the upcoming renovation period. The afternoon also celebrated the resort’s 2022 Shining Stars, much-deserved promotions, and Medallia score goals for 2023.
Following a short welcome address, management shared the plans for the upcoming pool renovation, with the emphasis on guests’ recreation options and convenience. Management also outlined many other upcoming projects planned later this year.
Associates were pleased to hear that the renovations include a new kids’ area, new lighting systems, new golf carts, BBQ’s and the casino expansion, among other important improvements.
The comparison between Medallia scored in 2021-2022 and 2022-23 detailed achievers most-mentioned by department and property wide and applauded most-requested associates and supervisors. It also praised fast responders among Loss Prevention and Maintenance associates.
The forum also thanked the hard-working 2022 Shining Stars, Associate of the Year, Lyrza Lansiquot; 1stRunner up Associate of the Year, Minerva Hayes; Supervisor of the Year, Enmanuel Antonio; Leader of the Year, Sudi Guda and Team of the Year, at the department of Human Resource.
Reiterating its values of Passion, Fun, Integrity, Appreciation, Consistency, Dedication to Guests and Learning, the appreciation days inspired associates to meet and exceed guests’ expectations and continue to provide genuine hospitality to their guests creating memorable vacations.
La Cabana’s first Associates General Meeting, of Q1 2023, concluded with refreshments and a networking opportunity.
