Resort Assistant Manager Rufo Ruiz nominated for Hilton’s CEO Light & Warmth Award

Well-deserved recognition for Mr. Rofino Ruiz.

Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino’s beloved Resort Assistant Manager, Rofino Ruiz, was recently recognized by Hilton for being nominated for the CEO Light & Warmth Award - the highest honor any Hilton Team Member can receive.

With nearly 700 nominations throughout the Hilton chain and only 13 honorees selected, Rofino Ruiz, best known as Rufo, is now part of a special group of Team Members having been nominated for the CEO Light & Warmth Award.

Rufo’s nomination consists of a four-page letter outlining his much appreciated contributions, for consistently setting an example of professionalism and service.

In his position as the Resort Assistant Manager in the evening and late night, Rufo very often finds himself at the heart of health crisis, helping guests cope with unforeseen circumstances, doctor visits, trips to the hospital and the pharmacy, dealing with anything from allergic reactions and lost backpacks, to monitoring the level of music in the neighboring night clubs. Rufo takes ownership of any situation and makes sure the issue is satisfactorily resolved before the end of his shift at day-break.
