Lost my front plate on my truck. (I know better) For shiz and giggles put an Aruba plate on the front. Made me feel 10 degrees warmer. I dont think I have to tell you what happen next. Pulled over for an illigaly attached plate:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

OK I know I was stupid but I had a lapse of sence in this cold temps. There is a good news and a bad news to the end of the story. The Police officer (attempt at being polite) asked me if I had been there. Told him yes and how many times. He has been there twice and luck being with me is going in three weeks. He made me take off the plate then confiscated it:mad: Let me go with a "YOU CANT ATTACH PLATES FOR ANY REASON IN MASSACHUSETTS! No fine, no ticket, no kiss no nothing just took my Aruba plate. I addmit he was very professional and polite but damb I miss my Aruba plate:(

OH BILL!!! I am so sorry to hear this :(

...when I first started reading I thought maybe the screws let loose and it just dropped off.

Then thinking maybe I have a spare (or 2 in my closet- picked them up on eBay) and could probably send you one.

But now...I guess the bright side is that there was no ticket. You have my sympathies. :)

I would feel half naked  if I could not have my Aruba plate on the front of my car. :(

Last year I got an Aruba plate and I was so excited. I couldn't wait to get home and put it on my car! Well hubby (who happens to be a police officer) gave me the heads up that I couldnt do it. :( So I proceeded to tell him all the creative ways that I could put it on my car (back window, put it above the one in front etc. etc) and all I got back was a resounding NO!:mad: Not fair.
so now it hangs in my office at work. Oh well ...

Funny you should say that Auntie Mame, but after my accident this summer....I bought a used golf cart from a friend of my husband figuring it would be a safe way to get around our farm...150 acres.
Now I know what to do with my Aruba license plate that has been sitting inmy office for 4-5 years !!!!!!:D:D

that being said..........BILL>>>>>I feel so bad for you....at least you were not given a ticket to go with the repromand(sp?).....
This is a good, even great reason to return to Aruba.....MUST GET NEW PLATE !!!!:p:p:p
