I do not know if anyone else is having a problem or not or if something has changed in my settings. I used to get emails when people post on a topic I have posted, but don't get them any more. I also was not notified via email of a private message. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? If it is me, how do I fix it?

go to your settings
then general settings and then scroll down and make sure that the 3 boxes are checked for messages.

I only get notifications for private messages

I believe that there is a glitch in the system but I do not want to bother the webmaster on his 4 day weekend.

I will send him a note on Tuesday asking him to take a looksee.

All of a sudden, today, I started getting emails when people post, but they are not the latest posts, but rather older ones-up to a week ago. SMH

That’s so weird! There has to be something in the settings. I get emails when someone sends a pm but not when someone posts. I know on TA there is a mechanism to get emails when someone responds to a post so there must be something in the settings here that we’re missing. It’s a puzzle.

Me too only get notified of private messages. Never got notified if someone posts on a topic. Would be nice though. TA does that.

I even checked my settings and it said 'do not subscribe', yet I have a bunch of topics under 'subscribed'. Going to see if I can delete them. I tried yesterday, but it didn't.

email notifications ...that is a no. :(

It took 3 tries, 3 different ways, but I deleted all the 'subscribed' threads-all almost 2000 of of them according to the page.
