    Where to Fish?

Hi - I am surprising my husband with a trip to Aruba for his 50th birthday this coming August. He is an AVID fisherman, so I am looking for any helpful hints on fishing charters and area guides. I'd like to take him out for a day for some deep sea fishing, but I am also very interested in any local guides that he could hook up with so that he might be able to find the best spots on the island. Also - any recommendations for bait and tackle shops? Thanks for any information!!

    fishing excursions?

In a couple weeks we will be in Aruba with my grandparents for their 64th wedding anniversary. was wanting to take my grandpa fishing one morning while we are there, he is not terribly strong anymore, little wobbly at times, but i would be with him. any suggestions on some good fishing? (catch and release is ok)

You would probably want bottom fishing in some calmer waters, as opposed to offshore, deep sea fishing.

    Check out
http://www.arufishing.com/ for some fishing near the mangroves between the coast and barrier islands ( a downright beautiful spot ) or see "fishing" with Roberto's http://www.robertoswatersports.com/
