What do you like to drink? Is it different in Aruba than at home?
I was looking in our liquor cabinet at home and it prompted this question.

we drink a couple of alcoholic beverages a day while in Aruba or cruise.
mostly at happy hour or before dinner.
usually frozen sweet drinks (Miami vice)
at the casinos, I may sip a vodka on rocks, but rarely finish it.
at home.......once in a while.
our neighbor made limoncello and orangecello and we have it in our freezer.
we have a sip now and again.
we do love to have Baileys in coffee once in a while.
the scotch, vodka and Canadian club in our liquor cabinet ...bottles are dusty.
we have enough wine to last a lifetime.
I’m more of a wine drinker than anything else. However, in Aruba, I tend to mix it up. That’s because I’ve been in a few restaurants where I ordered a red wine and it was served cold with ice. From my way of thinking, that’s just wrong.
If we’re at Bavaria I’ll order a dark beer; Pega Pega I order a rum punch and at the Ritz casino it’s an espresso martini. I still order wine when out to dinner, but it’s usually a white wine like Sauvignon blanc, because I do like that cold.
I tend to shy away from overly sweet drinks. At home I tend to drink vodka/seltzer/splash of pineapple or Hard Seltzer. On vacation I drink some kind of vodka concoction, and of course in Aruba I drink Aruba Aribas. I also like rum, but can't do rum and soda, so usually a light rum with pineapple juice.
Amstel Bright at lunch.... vodka sour or gimlet before dinner and then cranberry and vodka at the casino. At home a few Corona Lights during the week!
A wise man is easily fooled. But, only a fool would fool a wise man!
For me a little different in Aruba than home. At home I usually drink wine, sometimes vodka. But in Aruba if I want to splurge on calories I love a pina colada or another tropical drink at lunch/happy hour. We used to order a bottle of wine with dinner in Aruba but we’ve changed some nights to have a tropical cocktail and Larry will have a vodka martini.
