August 2022 - Here we go......

After having to cancel our trips the past 2 Augusts, we are on again for this year. Friends/family trip, 10 days total for us, some friends arrive the day before us, one couple leaves 3 days after we arrive, then a set of parents arrive 3 days before we leave.

So far we are booked with Blue Melody snorkeling for the 2 Fridays of our trip, and we have a reservation at Oak.

We have a list of restaurants we'd like to go to, sadly, the restaurant list has more items on it than we have days on Aruba! (1st world problem for sure).

Any fabulous new restaurants that anyone has found recently, that we may not know about yet? We are very sad that MeltAway did not seem to survive the pandemic. We enjoyed a great dinner there before the initial shutdown.

Not sure if you've visited any restaurants in "The Cove", but there are several good places there. It's across from Paseo Herencia. We especially like Perle D'Italia, The Vue and North End Pub. Seabarita was another great find.

We stay at the Marriott, so we do stroll up to Paseo Herencia quite often. Have been checking out The Vue, and that's def on our list. Off to find reviews of your other two suggestions. :-)

Enjoy your well deserved trip. We also stay at the Marriott! Be sure to include on your agenda the live singer, Amy Sorinio, in the lobby either Tuesday or Friday night. She’s there from 7-10pm. Really good!
